Order Status for Internet-Ready Phones

Order Status allows you to review your orders and attempt to cancel or cancel/replace eligible orders still pending execution, all from your internet-ready phone. (Eligible orders include domestically traded, equity buy and sell orders placed through Fidelity Brokerage Services, Inc.).

To Review Orders-

  1. After logging in, select Order Status by pressing #5 on the keypad, or move the cursor to selection and press hotkey for OK.

  2. If you have multiple accounts under your SSN, select the account you want to review by pressing the appropriate keypad # or moving cursor to selection and press hotkey for OK.

  3. Select which order status to review-Open Orders, Filled Orders, or Partially Filled Orders- by pressing the appropriate keypad # or moving cursor to selection and press hotkey for OK.

To Attempt to Cancel an Order-

  1. Review orders listed in Open or Partially Filled Orders, and select appropriate keypad # to select order to attempt to cancel, or move the cursor to the selection and press hotkey for OK.

  2. Press “1” on the keypad for Cancel or move the cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  3. Your Cancel Preview screen will display order detail and an explanation that the attempt to cancel an order is on a best effort basis and subject to prior execution. Press hotkey for OK.

  4. You are provided with a new trade confirmation number, indicating your cancellation request has been entered with fidelity. Please note:

  1. The confirmation number does not indicate the original order was actually cancelled, only that the cancel order was placed.

  2. Your cancellation order is subject to prevailing market conditions and prior execution of your original order.

Press hotkey for OK to return to Order Status menu.

To Attempt to Cancel/Replace-

  1. For Order Status menu, select Open or Partially Filled Orders by pressing appropriate keypad # or move cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  2. Review orders and select order to attempt to cancel and replace by pressing appropriate keypad # or moving cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  3. Select Cancel/Replace by pressing “2” on the keypad or move the cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  4. Select criteria to be changed by pressing appropriate keypad # or move cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  5. After making desired edits, press “5” to submit or move cursor and press hotkey for OK.

  6. Review the Cancel /Replace Preview screen for accuracy. Press hotkey for OK to submit replacement order. Note: Fidelity will attempt to cancel or replace an order on a best effort basis.

  7. You are provided with a new Confirmation number, indicating your replacement order has been entered with Fidelity. Please note:

  1. The confirmation number does not indicate the original order was actually cancelled, only that the cancel order was placed.

  2. Your cancellation order is subject to prevailing market conditions and prior execution of your original order.

Press hotkey for OK to return to Order Status menu.
